History buffs will love visiting this now-museum.  Nestled on the top of a hill, it has been a settlement for the Teotihucan people, a residence to Emperor Maximilian I and Empress Carlota, and the battleground of the last US invasion of Mexico.

San Angel is a great walking neighborhood, with its colonial architecture and vibrant colored buildings. On Saturday, stop by the bustling El Bazar del Sábado in Plaza San Jacinto to look for hand-blown colored glass vases and other crafts.
